“I like to think of architecture as the result of a shared vision created through collaboration with the client, the context of its place, and the purpose that makes it necessary.  Ideally, the building will convey an honesty and an alignment with the people who will occupy it and will stand in harmony with its place.”

Grant has over 30 years of experience designing residential, retail and commercial projects in the Hawaiian Islands, Las Vegas, and Guam.  His design solutions are driven by his interest in finding and expressing what makes each project unique.  Drawing & Sketching is what drew Grant to Architecture & he can still be found at his desk with pencil in hand.  Grant started his career as an intern for famed regionalist architect Vladimir Ossipoff whose contextual, thoughtful and beautifully simple approach left an indelible impression on him.

When not at work, Grant loves spending time with his wife Julie, their sons Drew and Cameron, 2 dogs and cat.  Grant loves playing and coaching soccer where he coaches at the local high school his boys attended and he can regularly be found at the local pick-up games at Kailua Beach Park.
